EFB-Pro is a comprehensive aircraft performance calculator that operates independently of an internet connection, ensuring reliable takeoff and landing calculations regardless of your location or altitude. It directly extracts necessary data from the AFM, simplifying the process for pilots.
Within EFB-Pro, you will find an extensive international runway database, enabling quick selection of desired airports and runways. Real-time weather integration enhances accuracy when connectivity is available. The Net Takeoff Flight Path profile ensures precise obstacle clearance weight restrictions are calculated, meeting FAA, EASA, and JAR standards.
Moreover, Weight & Balance functionalities seamlessly integrate with performance calculations, allowing for meticulous adjustments between standard or actual weights. Users can effortlessly manage fuel input, baggage allocation, and reserve fuel considerations. The system displays a detailed weight tree from BOW to Ramp to Landing weights and highlights any deviations from CG or weight limits in red.
The inclusion of the NEW TOLD card format streamlines the presentation of critical information akin to traditional paper TOLD cards. Additionally, cargo pallets can be visually arranged within the seat configuration screen for enhanced convenience.
Moving beyond basic performance parameters, EFB-Pro offers Performance Forecasting through PCast, a tool that visually represents takeoff performance concerning temperature variations. The system provides valuable insights into T/O Distance, OEI Climb Gradient, and Max WAT, aiding in meticulous pre-flight planning.
Moreover, Fuel Tankering analysis helps determine the economic viability of fuel tanking strategies by utilizing aircraft-specific fuel flow values across different altitudes and speed profiles.
For de-ice fluid applications, EFB-Pro includes a Holdover Time calculator supporting multiple solution types with approved brands integrated. This feature offers convenience by generating countdown clocks based on selected weather conditions and key variables.
It is important to note that access to EFB-Pro necessitates an active subscription with CAVU Companies and an EFB-Mobile account.
